We have a lovely peaceful place where "city/town pressures" can disappear.
We hope visitors will get as much pleasure as we do, seeing and hearing the native bird life - Native Tui, Fantails, Harrier hawks, pigeons, silver eyes, Ruru (morepork), Pukekos, as well as the usual black birds, thrushes, quails etc.
Our property is 2.5 ha of which approx half is planted in natives. The rest of the land is house, paths, lawn, pine tree plantations, some gardens, and home orchard & vegetable garden.
Unique Experiences at 951C Waingaro Road
- Peace and quiet and 6 acres of grounds to explore.
- Only 10 minutes from the Hakarimata track with its 1400 steps or the more gentle "rail trail walk".
- 10 minutes from the start of the cycle/walkway from Ngaruawahia to Lake Karapiro (or further if you are ready to cycle on metal track)
Why You Will Love 951C Waingaro Road
We have 2.5 ha. of land which we have been developing into our little part of heaven. Approximately half has been planted out in natives and the rest is gardens, paths/tracks, ponds, orchard (home) and vege gardens. In a little over 10 years we have developed from a gully with a lot of pines, blackberries, gorse, etc, into a place which is definitely not a public garden but one where we can now "wander and ponder".
