About the Landowner, Tracey and Jim

Tracey and Jim built the Summit Lodge as somewhere they would want to stay if they were visiting! Guests are provided with privacy and their own space but have their hosts available for as much or as little interaction as the guests want.

Your hosts both have corporate backgrounds and have traveled extensively. Jim plays golf whenever he can whilst Tracey is a keen photographer and is involved with local politics. Both share a passion for cooking and good wine and they love entertaining. Dinner with Tracey and Jim is informal and relaxed.

Complimentary pre-dinner drinks are often available for those who want to socialise and dinners are a very sociable affair, set around the large, oak table in the kitchen/dining room. Guests, can, however, opt to eat out or they can request an informal platter to be served in the lounge - the choice is yours.

Also residing at the Summit Lodge are a number of friendly cats - Lhotse and Gimli the fluffy Birmans, Cino and Monte the Burmese and Osca the old retainer - free range chickens, a herd of very curious alpacas who love being hand-fed by guests and the very sociable chocolate Labrador dog, Dexter.
