Park your caravan with us; we have a lovely peaceful place where "city/town pressures" can disappear.
We hope visitors will get as much pleasure as we do, seeing and hearing the native bird life - Native Tui, Fantails, Harrier hawks, pigeons, silver eyes, Ruru (morepork), Pukekos, as well as the usual black birds, thrushes, quails etc.

Claire stayed Oct 2018
The property is lovely with a huge garden with trails to walk around. No farm animals. We parked up in a gravel area behind the house, no view, but perfectly pleasant for an overnight stop. The owners plugged us into power which was a nice surprise. They were very friendly and welcoming but as we were their very first visitors they weren't quite sure of what was expected either.
If we went again we'd take our drinks and nibbles or even dinner to one of the areas in the garden which would be nicer than sitting in the driveway. There were some private spots with seats out of the way of the main house which I'm sure the owners wouldn't mind campers using.
Thus would be a good spot to stay if you were heading to Waingaro Hot Springs the next day.
About the Landowner, Lorena
There will always be someone here if required. But if you wish, this is a perfect place to get some peace and quiet.
We have 2.5 ha. of land which we have been developing into our little part of heaven. Approximately half has been planted out in natives and the rest is gardens, paths/tracks, ponds, orchard (home) and vege gardens. In a little over 10 years we have developed from a gully with a lot of pines, blackberries, gorse, etc, into a place which is definitely not a public garden but one where we can now "wander and ponder".
We look forward to welcoming you.
