We have some beautiful farm and marked bushwalking tracks with picturesque views of our farming valley and Marokopa beach, 180-degree views encompassing Taharoa down to Nukuhakari Station.
The Lodge is double storied with a fully functional kitchen including hot water and fridge. Cutlery and crockery are all supplied however you will need to bring your own bedding.
We have nine cabins which can sleep up to 35 people. Four cabins can sleep 4 people with a double/single bunk and single bed and the other 3 cabins can sleep 5 with a double/single bunk and set of single bunks.
Power is supplied via solar panels located on the roof, water is precious to us at the lodge as it is collected in a large tank only when it rains. Three large tables seat up to 30 guests on the lower floor of the lodge or you can relax upstairs on one of the seven couches and take in the breathtaking view, trust us, the photos just don't do it justice.
The Lodge is available from 1 October to the end of April.
Kids under 12 are FREE! The lodge is 4WD access only, guests can drive themselves if they have 4WD vehicles or we can drive them without 6 seater buggy or our "tuk-tuk"

After doing several of the Great NZ walks, we decided we had beautiful bush and wanted to build a lodge, open up some old bush logging tracks and share our piece of paradise with people. We are very passionate about where we live - from the breath taking views of the rugged west coast, to the tranquillity of the bush and natural surroundings.
