Zero light pollution makes for jaw dropping star gazing and astrophotography. Plus excellent bird watching with telescopes and binoculars provided.
Explore the hills on foot with stunning views at every turn or just relax on the deck and watch the clouds float past. There are also board games a-plenty and a wider range of CDs to cater for every musical taste should the weather not be suited for sun downers!

Self-catering accommodation with fully equipped kitchen.
Fridge/freezer, gas hob and oven. We love to cook and find that the time and views inspire some pretty exceptional creations so the kitchen is very well stocked in terms of pots/pans/crockery/chef's knives etc. Oil, salt/pepper, wide selection of herbs etc all provided. There is also a Weber Gas BBQ and Hibachi grill for outdoor cooking. So you should have everything you need to eat well!

We are Kirsty and Mike, based in Ĺtautahi Christchurch. Originally from the UK but proud Kiwis after being here for nearly 20 years. We fell in love with Tussock Rocks 5 years ago and after many years of happy memories have decided to share our slice of paradise. We don't live on site so the place is yours to explore but we are only ever a phone call away if you need anything. We keep the place pretty well stocked and you are welcome to use whatever you need.
