The kitchen is very well equipped. There is no problem catering for 10 people. Use the bread maker to enjoy freshly made bread and the air fryer for a healthier way to cook. There is plenty of fridge and freezer space so you can bring lots of food and drink as the shops are a boat ride away. 1930's Californian Bungalow with a great deck which has views of the beautiful and peaceful "Yncyca Bay". The house has it's own private floating jetty for swimming and fishing. Two kayaks and limited fishing gear are available for use.
No street lights so the stars just pop out of the sky.
No noise (except the bird life).
No internet, cellphone coverage or TV so you can completely disconnect.
Boat access only as no roads nearby.
3 ways to get here:
1) Bring your own boat: we have a floating jetty to tie up to and if the wind comes up you can tie up to our certified mooring.
2) Mail boat : the mail boat runs Monday, Wednesday and Friday and charges $50pp each way. It leaves Havelock Marina Pier B at 10.00am (need to be there by 9.30am) and you can park in the Havelock Marina Park for $6.00per day (pay and display). Pick up from our jetty is about 3-3.30pm for arrival back at Havelock by 5.00pm. Ph 03 574 1088 to book https://www.themailboat.co.nz/
3) Water taxi: there are 2 water taxis and their prices vary depending on the time of year and if they have any other passengers going the same way.
