The cottage was lovely and really clean. The outside was disappointing as the the slight view of the lake was through a paddock full of boats. The hot tub was a non event. Heated it for 6 hrs and still luke warm. Platter and breakfast way overpriced for what it was.

This place is an absolute slice of heaven! Everything you need, such an idyllic spot. Ideal for a small family and so close to the lake. We enjoyed every minute of it.

We have had a blissful few days at the Woolshed, enjoying quality family time. Despite the rain, we made the most of our stay, enjoying the local sights and activities as well as the fabulous hot tub and exceptionally comfy beds! Let me assure you, the photos do not do this beautiful place justice - even in the rain and wind! Angie and Dave have curated a warm and welcoming airbnb with lots of eclectic and fun things to enjoy. A must visit if you are heading to Lake Tarawera.

About your host, Angie
My husband and I are lucky enough to live at beautiful Lake Tarawera. We own a life style block and manage several holiday homes at the lake. We love sharing this exquisite part of the country with visitors from all over New Zealand and beyond.
