Fab place to stay! Tucked away from the world with lovely hosts. Loved the hut and its history and the cedar bath is perfect for a relaxing night. Will be back for sure! - Melanie

Great little spot for a peaceful getaway. Very clean, tidy, private and relaxing. A beautiful view of the lake during the day and a great deck watch at night time. Highly recommended and wonderful hosts. - Michelle

The hut is the most amazing place to visit! Such a romantic getaway. There is nothing better than sitting on the outdoor swing with a cheese board and a glass of wine. Dave and Angie were amazing and really friendly. We will be regulars each year as we didn’t want to leave so will be looking forward to getting away each year to enjoy the spa, fishing and great company. - Jaimie

We had the most amazing time at the Hut! It is a beautiful secluded spot close to lake Tarawera, ideal for a romantic get away. The hut has everything you need, a comfy bed and the decoration has some wonderful attention to detail. And not to forget the outside hot tub from which you can gaze at the stars at night. Highly recommend this place! - Amber

About your host, Angie

My husband and I are lucky enough to live at beautiful Lake Tarawera. We own a life style block and manage several holiday homes at the lake. We love sharing this exquisite part of the country with visitors from all over New Zealand and beyond.
