Reviews

Excellent location, the farm is so peaceful and the animals are so cute and friendly. Authentic kiwi farm life. Great place to relax and enjoy the countryside. Also great hosts. Very welcoming and genuine people that can go the extra mile to make your stay pleasant. Breakfast was also very good. From Athos, AUCKLAND.

Marie was a perfect host at the farm. She and Paul welcomed us with homemade muffins and served us a tasty dinner using produce from their garden. We helped move the cattle and learnt a lot about farming NZ style! Really comfy bed with our own bathroom and shower. Breakfast also featured home made products. All really good value at a ‘home from home’. Perfect for couples who like the peace and quiet of rural life. For us everything was just right. From Ann, ENGLAND

About your host, Marie

I was a teacher but resigned at the end of 2019 to fulfill my dream of doing my Farm Stays alongside rearing calves in spring. I love my garden and my pet animals and life feels fulfilled! Paul, my husband still works 4 days a week but enjoys his three day weekend being a farmer. We have 35 acres and run beef. So a bit bigger than a life-style but too small to be a stand alone farm business. We have two beautiful adult daughters who are out doing their own thing as strong young woman! One has returned from her Overseas experience and one continues to enjoy life abroad.
