A private spot with beautiful rural views. Hot Tub, Pizza Oven and Fire Pit to toast marshmallows together while Star gazing. Relax in the summer eating outside on the large deck or in winter enjoy the indoor wood fire which keeps the house comfortable and toasty.
The property feels like a secluded escape but boasts easy access to amenities and popular outdoor activities in the Ruapehu district.
Whether you plan to relax with a book admiring the setting or hope to make the most of the scenic walks, canoeing the Whanganui River, mountain biking or in winter enjoying the popular skiing in the area, you will know you have a cosy space to enjoy.
As an added bonus, the cottage is located across the road from a working farm with sheep, deer and cattle.
If you have time the outdoor Pizza Oven is a great fun and a soak in the Hot Tub while enjoying the wonderful night sky is a fabulous experience.
On the property there are three cattle that are harmless but may wander around the section of the house. Also for families with small children there is a pond and stream at the bottom of the property which is great for frog watching and catching fresh water crayfish - please make sure your young children are safe and with an adult when walking around the bottom of the property.
Numerous puzzles, games and books provided. Wifi, TV/Netflix, or DVD are NOT provided. Due to this location in a country area, there are times that mobile phone reception can be intermittent in places depending on your carrier and type of phone. Some service providers offer 100% reception. If you have any concerns about getting there or having phone reception please make contact prior to your arrival so they can be alleviated.

Fully stocked kitchen which provides you with everything required to cook a feast if you wish. Everything from a waffle machine to kitchen processor and bread maker, there is no reason to eat out.
Good pots, pans, knives and utensils with ample cutlery and crockery provided.
Enjoy sitting around the large Kauri table or outside on the large, covered deck area. Show off your pizza making skills on the outside pizza oven too!

The separate cabin offers one bedroom with a queen size bed and one room with bunk bed. Bunk bed is a double below and single on top.
Please note all queen mattresses are award winning memory foam mattresses and all linen and towels are a luxurious Sheridan brand. Duvets, pillows and extra blankets are provided.

The house and separate cabin are warm and sunny with views from all windows. We have also created various spaces so that it can be enjoyed as a beautiful restful private retreat.
There are 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom in the main cottage which sleeps a maximum of 6 people.
The separate modern cabin sleeps an additional 4 people. No bathroom in the outside cabin.

Our family of 6 enjoy adventures and travel. Mountain Biking and Skiing destinations are always high on the list when it comes to planning our holidays. Also we appreciate great cafes and eating places as well as creating big feasts ourselves to create happy memories of holidays together. We lead very busy lives being business owners therefore our accommodation is set up to provide peace and restful spaces knowing that is essential to have refreshing breaks away. Being an active family and now with grandchildren we have made sure this Holiday Home caters for all ages so that everyone leaves wishing they could stay a little bit longer.
