The Paris Suite has gorgeous views over 7 acres of rolling fields and trees to the sea beyond. The space is contemporary with a large kitchen and lounge, a king double bedroom with en suite and huge decks.
Themed in NZ retro domesticity, it celebrates rural NZ life with art and quality/unique furniture and fittings.
This is not a "cottage" but a large self-contained home. The other 3 bedrooms in the building (called Copper Gate) are 'locked off' and unoccupied so you are paying a better price than the whole 4 bedrooms. The Paris Suite is one of NZ's most sustainable holiday homes with super-insulation and eco fittings and practices.
Watch the birds on the surrounding farmland - hawks soar, tui flit around the korari of the flax plantation, kereru tumble in courtship displays. This is a dark sky area with stunning star nights. Nelson has NZ's highest sunshine hours.
