Perfect place to stay, particularly as we were provided so well with its history. Peaceful, and having the sheep placidly grazing nearby as we sat on the verandah in the sun added to that! Thank you, Anna.

Taieri Bank Stone Cottage is perfectly located a short distance from Middlemarch. Anna had the heaters on and the cottage was lovely and warm on our arrival. Two big bedrooms and a cosy lounge to relax in, milk bread and cereals for our breakfast, not to forget we woke to a foggy morning for a walk along the country road, just stunning as the sun broke through the fog. A great stay.

This is a gorgeous country stone cottage with beautiful views of the Taeiri Valley surrounded by the awesome Rock and Pillar Range. Splendid cosy warm beds and lovely decor. We will come again!!! Thank you Anna and Bevan.
When can I move in?! What an amazing place! Lovely peaceful surroundings, warm and cosy inside with super comfy beds - perfect after cycling! To top it off, Anna and Bevan had left a great selection for breakfast to make the trip feel like a home away from home. Highly recommend this place!
This is the place to stay if you are starting or finishing the rail bike trail. Everything has been provided. The beds are great, the ambiance in the yesteryear setting and of course the fireplace. The latter kept us very warm throughout the day and night.
