You can come to the quaint town of Millers Flat for a breath of fresh air as you tour around the South Island or enjoy time out while you stopover on your way between Queenstown and Dunedin or coming up from Te Anau or Invercargill. We recommend at least two nights so you can relax and explore the area. We have charge stations for electric bikes and parking for them in a covered shed. You can also charge your electric vehicle here.
Relax by our indoor fire or on the deck, take time to read a book and recharge. Or maybe bring a group of girlfriends for some time out. There are some great cafes and local restaurants within 5-15mins drive. You can easily hire a bike or BYO and explore the Teviot Valley by bike or on foot. The paths are flat and are beautiful as they run alongside the river.

The cabin has a full kitchen, complete with dishwasher, fridge, oven and cooktop. All glassware, utensils, kettle and cookware is provided. There is a local pub in Millers Flat and Roxburgh (15min drive has more restaurants and takeaways).

We have built a shipping container cabin right on the Clutha Gold Trail in Millers Flat. We have created a 2 bedroom warm modern cabin with a fire, complete kitchen and bathroom, and loft spaces. It is cosy in the winter and has a big deck for the afternoon summer sun with a BBQ.

Cycle or walk the Clutha Gold Trail that runs right past our gate. 20km in either direction and you will find a cafe or a pub for meals!
For foodies - we can arrange a visit to a national Honey supplier based in Ettrick and you can learn about growing and harvesting Saffron.
Farm Tour or Mountain Bike Experience - we'd love to make an itinerary for you to explore the area and can arrange bikes, shuttles and pickups, visits to stone cottages and vineyards in Alexandra.

The cabin is close to walking trails and the very popular Clutha Gold Bike Trail and is quiet and peaceful. Located on the edge of a farm with beautiful vistas up to the Old Man Range. We can supply delicious fresh ingredients for breakfast, including bread/waffle/pancake ingredients, fresh local fruit and preserves, and fresh farm eggs. Milk of your choice, butter,and of course maple syrup!

Amazing accommodation! So well appointed with lots of attention to detail. It has everything you need and more. Beds are comfy and shower is great. Was lovely going for wee wanders around the area. The local Faigans cafe was a delight also.

Hi, We are a family of 4 based in Central Otago, we built this container cabin as a holiday house for us and for you to also enjoy. We love the outdoors and all that the Teviot Valley brings. We know you will enjoy it too. This cabin is situated on an operational farm so you will see, hear, and smell the animals. The Clutha Gold bike/walking Trail also runs right past our gate.
