The warm and gorgeous "Fisherman's Hut" provides a lovely base to explore the area, either on foot or by 4WD. A small rowboat and sit-on kayaks are available for use on Lake Heron. Fishing rods are provided during the fishing season. We also offer scenic mountain flights from the station airstrip.
The cottage has been restored keeping most of its Character, giving it a luxury country feel.
The cottage is fully equipped with everything you may need and has a separate bathroom and toilet.
There is an outdoor bath to relax in under the stars.

Anne and Philip Todhunter and their family and staff live and work on Lake Heron Station. We have been hosting guests on the station for over 20 years. Hospitality is part of station life and we love welcoming guests.
