Our lodge is set in a special location which we aim to preserve. Our tranquil 5 hectare property is nestled in the lower Kaimai ranges just 5 minutes away from Katikati. Peace and tranquility surrounded by nature.
There is plenty of room to stroll around on our 5 hectares of avocado orchard and landscaped gardens. Relax under the shade of the tall trees while enjoying the sounds and sights of the native wildlife, Kereru, fantails, hawks, tui, morepork, kaka. Enjoy seasonal greens, fruit and fresh free range eggs from our garden.
Rupert and I moved out of Auckland in 2016 to Katikati after our 4 children had grown up and left home. We have 2 dogs and a few free range chickens that keep us busy when we are not looking after our orchard and the lodge. We have travelled all over the world in the past and understand what travellers need. Our goal is to give back to our guests the friendly welcome that we received ourselves when travelling.
