Park up your caravan with stunning views over the Kaipara harbour. Wake up in the morning with scenic views and our lovely alpacas in paddocks surrounding.
There are currently 114 alpacas on the property with several females due to birth November-December 2019 and March - April 2020 so you will have the exclusive opportunity to encounter baby alpacas (cria). One has already been born - a silver-grey boy.
The farm is 2 - 3 hours drive from Auckland (depending on traffic), 45 minutes from Dargaville and 75 minutes from Whangarei. Mangawhai on the east coast is 55 minutes and Wellsford also 55 minutes.
Apart from the alpacas, lots of bird species, and also possums and rabbits can be found on the property. This is the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle in the city.

About your host, Valerie
I have been an alpaca farmer since 2004 and moved to the Kaipara property in 2017. I now farm over 100 alpacas and love making finished product from their amazing fibre. I also have a day job as a business analyst at a software company in Takapuna
