We have owned Hilltop Villas since late January 2021. Staying as guests under a previous owner, delighting in the unique property and the experience, we seized the opportunity to own and share with others.

Surely the most spectacular setting ever - peaceful, private and a complete haven. From the onsite bush walk, hidden bush hut (complete with day beds!), and spa-with-a-view, this amazing accommodation is a destination worth the journey. Just a few minutes drive to Lake Karapiro, Cambridge and Sanctuary Mountain so there's much to explore. Everything in the villa is provided, and luxurious. April and Mort are such lovely hosts - nothing was too much trouble. 100% recommended.

We had a lovely comfortable stay over Labour weekend. Room is spacious and spotless, and the spa provided amazing views day and night. Excellent fresh breakfast too :)

My partner and I stayed here for our anniversary and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our experience. The Villa is kept in pristine condition and was very cozy. The spa was fantastic and kept very clean. April was a lovely host and very accomodating to our allergies for the breakfast - Wide variety of food & fruit made available which we really appreciated. We hope to stay here again!

A peaceful location with beautiful native gardens. It was nice to see and hear the kaka and tui. April and Mort made us feel so welcome and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay.

It was an amazing cabin with a great view. Mark and April went that extra mile with home baking and we loved the continental breakfast with homemade muesli. The bush walk they had was fun and all the birds around were great to watch.

Hilltop Villa was a beautiful spot for our weekend away, it was very clean and had everything we needed, even a few personalised things that made it feel extra special, the veiws were beautiful especially from the spa. We had an amazing stay at hilltop villas. The hosts were so accommodating and friendly. The villa was immaculate and had every base covered for a comfortable stay. The surroundings were as perfect as the villa. Quiet, tranquil and teeming with bird life. We are planning a return visit soon.....
