This place is in 2 acres of gardens (in what started off as a sheep paddock). For luxury, rural accommodation close to Masterton, Greytown, Carterton and Martinborough treat yourselves to a stay in this purpose-built guest lodge.

There is a herd of friendly alpacas on-site, free-range chickens, an orchard and a large veggie garden. The garden is full of NZ native plants and a variety of birdlife is present. There are views beyond the gardens to rolling farmland, paddocks full of cows and sheep and there are often stunning sunsets.

- Tararuas; visit Mt Holdsworth, Mt Dick or Waiohine Gorge
- The coast; visit Castlepoint, Honey Comb Rock at Flatpoint, Riversdale
- Or take a gentle walk around Lake Henley and the wetlands or Carters Reserve

CYCLING
There are several road circuit options from the Summit Lodge through beautiful countryside. There is also the very challenging Admiral Hill climb right on our doorstep. Bring your own bike over or hire one!

Guests rooms share a large guest lounge in a private wing of the lodge, guests are guaranteed the comfort of a boutique hotel and the hospitality of a home-stay.

Guests have private access in and out of the guest wing and there is ample parking to the rear of the lodge.
