Mill House is a wonderful place to stay. Spacious, comfortable, well equipped and with great views. The beds are really comfortable and sitting on the verandah watching the world go by is so relaxing. Amanda is a great host, ready with suggestions for places to visit and keen to ensure her guests have all they need. Our only regret is only staying 2 nights. We would not hesitate to stay again.

words are inadequate - this generational family home is a "gem". It is/was a privalege to be able to stay - clearly Amanda (and family) love being able to offer a unique experience in an exceptionally well maintained character villa - her former family home. "Kitten" is resident and ensures a welcome. There are few experiences in life that I would "truly recommend" but if peace and serentity are required then this option has to be on the shortlist

Highly recommended to anyone looking for a luxurious, quiet and comfortable getaway. The fire was going when we got there and it couldn’t have been more comfortable. Very cheap for what we got

Was an amazing stay. So quiet and peaceful. The home was very comfortable and a lot of care has gone into making it a great place to relax and unwind. Thanks for a great time and all the effort. We will definitely be back again.

We really enjoyed our stay. Fabulous house, clean and stylish with so much attention paid to the little details - we appreciated it all. Highly recommended. We will stay here again for sure.

Beautiful old villa with lovely decor and bedding. Beautiful touches with pot plants and lots of fresh flowers. Lovely rural setting

About your host, Amanda
We are a family of four that run a sheep and beef farm in Pohokura. This beautiful house was our family home until recently. We couldn't have it empty, so what better way to occupy it by sharing it with the world.
