We are a short drive away from the world famous Tongariro Alpine Crossing and biggest ski field in NZ, Mt Ruapehu.

Cereal with fresh milk, a plate of seasonal fruit, Danishes & bagels served with spreads. Juice, plunger coffee / tea / hot chocolate delivered to your room at your preferred time. Available from 7.30am to 9am.
We can reserve seats on our shuttle service to the Tongariro Alpine crossing at $45pp return. Once you check in we will create a a ticket and book a time slot. Shuttles depart at 5.45-7.15-8.30-9.45am returning at 1.30pm, 2.30pm, 3.30pm, 4.30pm, and 5.30pm from our Lodge.

Question: Hi there,
We are from Whakatane in the Bay of Plenty and want to bring our family and exchange student on a snow trip. Our family is young, 9 months, 3 years and 5 years. And then our exchange student who's 16 and 2 adults.
My question is, when booking I understand I need to book for the amount of people but I if children were included or were full price? It bumps up the price quite a bit per person so wanted to check from what age do we pay from?

Answer: Hello, 2 years old and under are free here at Plateau Lodge. Our extra guest charge does apply for children 3 years old and up using existing beds.
