Manapouri is the heart of Fiordland National Park, easily accessed walking track in the Southern and Northern parts of the park as well as numerous short walks. Come home to the comfort of a cozy warm cottage and soak in the spa pool after a day's activities. You can be as busy or as relaxed as you choose - most people don't want to leave and wish they had more time to enjoy this wonderful part of NZ and this great little cottage located on the edge of Fiordland National Park. Hike, stroll, bike, fish, go horse riding, take in scenic drives to Milford Sound and explore the road in, head out to the amazing Doubtful Sound - you are spoilt for choice of activities. Join us in feeding the alpacas and get to know them during your stay.
About your host, Jessie
Ray and Jessie invite you to enjoy sometime staying in our lovely little self contained cottage on our alpaca farm. We breed alpacas for their luxury fibre and use it to create wearable art, what we don't use ourselves onsite we send away and get NZ manufacturers to make products for us which are sold online and in our farm store.

The cottage has a 2 burner electric cook top with a benchtop small oven along with a large electric frypan, slow cooker, rice cooker, toaster and sandwich maker along with a small under bench fridge, single F&P dish drawer, coffee beans and plunger. Basic pantry items supplied. Gas BBQ outside in garden area.

Private fully self contained one bedroomed cottage located on our working alpaca farm with amazing views into Fiordland National Park. The cottage has its own spa pool and garden area, gas BBQ, laundry and kitchen. Our farm is located 1 km from stunning Lake Manapouri and is lovely and quiet and gives access to both the northern and southern parts of Fiordland National Park. Our cottage is double glazed, fully insulated and has a heat pump so it is super cosy during both winter and summer, snuggle under a winter weight alpaca duvet during winter and lightweight alpaca duvet in summer. All linens and bedding provided, we clean the cottage to ensure it is spotless for guests.

Our fully self contained cottage is located on our alpaca farm on the outskirts of Lake Manapouri, Fiordland, the walking capital of NZ. Close to Lake Manapouri. Our guest love to base themselves here to either be as busy hiking, fishing, biking, boating or just hang out with the alpacas on our farm and relax, jump into the spa pool and gaze into the Fiordland Mountains with a glass of wine or beer and star gaze at night-time.
Join hosts Ray and Jessie in feeding the alpaca herd during your stay, meet, feed and mingle with the different groups and be prepared to be enchanted. Free for guests staying in our cottage.
